Casual Dogs Casual Dogs

House rules

Play fair. Stay casual.

Fun over grind. Reports are intake. Bans climb a fixed ladder after staff decide — never from a form alone.

Spirit

How we play

  • Casual play first. A few hours a week is the norm. The board is the squad, not a stream to dominate.
  • Fun ahead of grind. Sweaty tryhard play, constant flaming, and wrecking someone else's night are out.
  • Respect the match. No cheats, no grief loops, no toxic pile-ons. Callouts can be sharp; harassment is not.
  • Reports are intake. Filing a report does not ban anyone. Staff read it and decide if a ladder step applies.
  • Priority does not kick. Paying for queue priority never removes a player who is already in the match. It only changes who waits next.
  • Identity is identity. Steam sign-in stores a SteamID64 so we know who you are. It does not grant priority by itself.
  • No public leaderboard culture. We do not run K/D boards, ladders of glory, or partner gift schemes on this site. Show up and play.
  • Reasons stay visible. When a ban decision lands on the public board, the reason travels with it.

Ladder

Ban steps — written out

After staff decide, bans follow this order. Each step is a decision, not an automatic click from a report.

  1. 24 hours First enforced step. Short cool-off. The reason is recorded on the website ban board.
  2. 1 week Second step if the same player earns another decision after the first.
  3. 1 month Third step. Longer absence from the server while the community resets.
  4. Permanent Final step. The player stays off Casual Dogs until staff reverse it — which is rare and deliberate.

A ban decision can show as pending until it reaches the live server list. Pending restart means the change waits for the next server restart. Pending is not an active ban yet.

Reports

What filing a report does

Intake only

Your report is a message to staff. It does not trigger the ladder. It does not auto-ban.

Human decision

Staff review context, then may apply the next ladder step — or close it with no ban.

Public board

Enforced decisions and reasons show on Bans.

File a report

Priority waits its turn. The ladder waits for a person.
